This patch adds support for TEF6862 Car Radio Enhanced Selectivity Tuner.
It's implemented as a subdev, supporting checking signal strength
and setting and getting frequency.

This is recreated driver for the FM module found on Miro
PCM20 sound cards. This driver was removed around the 2.6.2x
kernels because it relied on the removed OSS module. Now, it
uses a current ALSA module (snd-miro) and is adapted to v4l2
layer.
It provides only basic functionality: frequency changing and
FM module muting.

The compiler warned about an uninitialized stereo variable. By simplifying
the code it 1) improved readability and 2) fixed the compiler warning.

This patch adds files to control si4713 devices.
Internal functions to control device properties
and initialization procedures are into these files.
Also, a v4l2 subdev interface is also exported.
This way other drivers can use this as v4l2 i2c subdevice.

This patch adds files which creates the radio interface
for si4713 FM transmitter (modulator) devices.
In order to do the real access to device registers, this
driver uses the v4l2 subdev interface exported by si4713 i2c driver.

The structure and comments of the I2C part have been adopted to fit to the
USB part.
Some additional cleanups and precisements have been made to the version
detection and checking functionality to clearly separate HW/SW/FW version.

This patch supports i2c interface of si470x. The i2c specific part
exists in radio-si470x-i2c.c file and the common part uses
radio-si470x-common.c file. The '#if defined' is inserted inevitably
because of parts used only si470x usb in the common file.
The current driver version doesn't support the RDS.

The si470x directory includes a common file and usb specific file and
header file.
The part unrelated with usb interface and i2c interface exists in
radio-si470x-common.c file, and The usb specific part exists in
radio-si470x-usb.c file.

Patch renames radio->muted to radio->status, add defines for that
variable, and fixes suspend/resume procedure. Radio->status set to
STOPPED in usb_dsbr100_probe because of removing open call.

This patch adds functions to access the scratchpad.
For it is this good for? In the first two bytes, the developers
stored the HW/PCB version and the software release of the firmware.
This is now written to syslog, so debugging get's easier.
Also knowing the versions is the key for flash upgrades later on.
There are also some cleanups of the flash report sizes.
Altogether this should justify the new version number 1.0.9.

This chip is connected in pxa I2C bus in EZX phones
from Motorola, the chip is used in phone model A1200.

Introduce a struct v4l2_file_operations for v4l2 drivers.
Remove the unnecessary inode argument.
Move compat32 handling (and llseek) into the v4l2-dev core: this is now
handled in the v4l2 core and no longer in the drivers themselves.
Note that this changeset reverts an earlier patch that changed the return
type of__video_ioctl2 from int to long. This change will be reinstated
later in a much improved version.

Because this device doesn't provide any powermanagment capabilities(may
be they exist but unknown to me yet, so they are not implemented), we

This patch adds support for suspend and resume methods in driver.
Without this kradio and gnomeradio crashes during resume.
Also .supports_autosuspend in usb_driver struct set equal to 0 to avoid

USB should not be having it's own printk macros, so remove warn() and
use the system-wide standard of dev_warn() wherever possible. In the
few places that will not work out, use a basic printk().

This patch removes the unnecessary get/set input/audio functions.
The reason is, that the V4L2 specification says, that if input or audio
cannot be switched anyway, the functions doesn't need to be implemented.
I've tested the new driver with all current radio programs in
Debian/testing and found no problems with that.
In my opinion, the driver is much cleaner by removing these unnecessary
functions.

The V4L2 specification says, when to check and when to return
tuner->type as constant value.
This patch corrects exactly this behavior, so that it is now conform to
the V4L2 specification.

This patch changes the handling of unsupported base controls.
In the former version, specific unsupported base controls were listed in
the queryctrl table and were flagged as disabled controls. This was done
for all base controls used by the applications.
The patch now removes the specific base controls and instead lets
queryctrl automatically return unsupported base controls flagged as
disabled.

This patch improves support for multiple radio devices.
In previous versions all region relevant settings were derived from one
module parameter. As in future versions, the region and other
configuration should be configurable per device from the user space,
this patch already retrieves all relevant information from the actual
device specific settings.

This patch creates a new usb-radio driver, radio-mr800.c, that
supports the AverMedia MR 800 USB FM radio devices.
This device plugs into both the USB and an analog audio input, so this
thing only deals with initialization and frequency setting, the audio
data has to be handled by a sound driver.

The BKL is now moved from the video_open function in v4l2-dev.c to the
various drivers. It seems about a third of the drivers already has a
lock of some sort protecting the open(), another third uses
video_exclusive_open (yuck!) and the last third required adding the
BKL in their open function.

The type and type2 fields were unused and so could be removed.
Instead add a vfl_type field that contains the type of the video
device.

All ioctl callbacks are now stored in a new v4l2_ioctl_ops struct. Drivers fill in
a const struct v4l2_ioctl_ops and video_device just contains a const pointer to it.
This ensures a clean separation between the const ops struct and the non-const
video_device struct.

The functions in a header should not belong to another module. The prio functions
belong to v4l2-common.c, so move them to v4l2-common.h.
The ioctl functions belong to v4l2-ioctl.c, so create a new v4l2-ioctl.h header
and move those functions to it.
