Hans Reiser 58bb01a9cd [PATCH] re-export clear_page_dirty_for_io()
2.6.14 has this exported, and reiser4 (at least) uses it. Put things back
the way they were.

Adrian Bunk e6a7e0e7ce [PATCH] unexport clear_page_dirty_for_io
I didn't find any possible modular usage in the kernel.

Ingo Molnar 8d06afab73 [PATCH] timer initialization cleanup: DEFINE_TIMER
Clean up timer initialization by introducing DEFINE_TIMER a'la
DEFINE_SPINLOCK. Build and boot-tested on x86. A similar patch has been
been in the -RT tree for some time.

Linus Torvalds 1da177e4c3 Linux-2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
