qlcnic_hw.c:1337:17:    got void *<noident>

The above warnings are originating from the macros QLCNIC_RD_DUMP_REG and
QLCNIC_WR_DUMP_REG.
The warnings are fixed and macros are replaced with equivalent functions
in the only file from where it is called.

The following warnings are fixed by making the functions static.

qlcnic_hw.c:543:5: warning: symbol 'qlcnic_set_fw_loopback' was not declared. Should it be static?
qlcnic_init.c:1853:6: warning: symbol 'qlcnic_process_rcv_diag' was not declared. Should it be static?

2dfc967191 drivers/net/ethernet/qlogic/qlcnic/qlcnic_main.c: fix error return code
The function qlcnic_probe() return 0 for success and negative value
for most of its internal tests failures. There is one exception
that is error case going to err_out_free_netdev:. For this error case,
the function abort its success execution path, but returns non negative
value, making it difficult for a caller function to notice the error.

This patch fixes the error case that do not return negative value.

This was found by Coccinelle, but the code change was made by hand.
This patch is not robot generated.

A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is
as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/)

// <smpl>
(
if@p1 (\(ret < 0\|ret != 0\))
 { ... return ret; }
|
ret@p1 = 0
)
... when != ret = e1

*if(...)
{
  ... when != ret = e2
      when forall
 return ret;
}

68b3f28c11 qlcnic: Fix scheduling while atomic bug
In the device close path, 'qlcnic_fw_destroy_ctx' and
'qlcnic_poll_rsp' call msleep. But 'qlcnic_fw_destroy_ctx' and
'qlcnic_poll_rsp' are called with 'adapter->tx_clean_lock' spin lock
held resulting in scheduling while atomic bug causing the following
trace.

I observed that the commit 012dc19a45
from John Fastabend addresses a similar issue in ixgbevf driver.
Adopting the same approach used in the commit, this patch uses mdelay
to address the issue.

Add a check if pdev->bus->self == NULL (root bus). When attaching
a netxen NIC to a VM it can be on the root bus and the guest would
crash in netxen_mask_aer_correctable() because of a NULL pointer
dereference if CONFIG_PCIEAER is present.

With the patch applied, I can see around 148% improvement on a TCP_STREAM test,

	net/ipv6/route.c

This deals with a merge conflict between the net-next addition of the
inetpeer network namespace ops, and Thomas Graf's bug fix in
2a0c451ade which makes sure we don't
register /proc/net/ipv6_route before it is actually safe to do so.

cae82d4999 qlcnic: Fix estimation of recv MSS in case of LRO
o Linux stack estimates MSS from skb->len or skb_shinfo(skb)->gso_size.
In case of LRO skb->len is aggregate of len of number of packets hence MSS
obtained using skb->len would be incorrect. Incorrect estimation of recv MSS
would lead to delayed acks in some traffic patterns (which sends two or three
packets and wait for ack and only then send remaining packets). This leads to
drop in performance. Hence we need to set gso_size to MSS obtained from firmware.

o This is fixed recently in firmware hence the MSS is obtained based on
capability. If fw is capable of sending the MSS then only driver sets the gso_size.
