Stephen Hemminger 61357325f3 netdev: convert bulk of drivers to netdev_tx_t
In a couple of cases collapse some extra code like:
   int retval = NETDEV_TX_OK;
   ...
   return retval;
into
   return NETDEV_TX_OK;

Dongdong Deng 4871953c0e drivers/net: fixed drivers that support netpoll use ndo_start_xmit()
The NETPOLL API requires that interrupts remain disabled in
netpoll_send_skb(). The use of "A functions set" in the NETPOLL API
callbacks causes the interrupts to get enabled and can lead to kernel
instability.

The solution is to use "B functions set" to prevent the irqs from
getting enabled while in netpoll_send_skb().

A functions set:
local_irq_disable()/local_irq_enable()
spin_lock_irq()/spin_unlock_irq()
spin_trylock_irq()/spin_unlock_irq()

B functions set:
local_irq_save()/local_irq_restore()
spin_lock_irqsave()/spin_unlock_irqrestore()
spin_trylock_irqsave()/spin_unlock_irqrestore()

Yevgeny Petrilin 9f519f68cf mlx4_en: Not using Shared Receive Queues
We use 1:1 mapping between QPs and SRQs on receive side,
so additional indirection level not required. Allocated the receive
buffers for the RSS QPs.

Yevgeny Petrilin eb4ad82641 mlx4_en: Fix double pci unmapping.
In cases of fragmented skb, with the data pointers being wrapped around
the TX buffer, the completion handling code would not forward the data
pointer and the firs fragment was unmapped several times, while others
were not unmapped at all.

Patrick McHardy ec634fe328 net: convert remaining non-symbolic return values in ndo_start_xmit() functions
This patch converts the remaining occurences of raw return values to their
symbolic counterparts in ndo_start_xmit() functions that were missed by the
previous automatic conversion.

Additionally code that assumed the symbolic value of NETDEV_TX_OK to be zero
is changed to explicitly use NETDEV_TX_OK.

Yevgeny Petrilin 3c05f5ef7c mlx4_en: Cancel port_up check in transmit function
When closing the port, we stop all transmit queues under the transmit
lock. It ensures that we will not attempt to transmit new packets after
the physical port was closed.

Yevgeny Petrilin f813cad836 mlx4_en: multiqueue support
By default the driver opens 8 TX queues (defined by MLX4_EN_NUM_TX_RINGS).
If the driver is configured to support Per Priority Flow Control, we open
8 additional TX rings.
dev->real_num_tx_queues is always set to be MLX4_EN_NUM_TX_RINGS.
The mlx4_en_select_queue() function uses standard hashing (skb_tx_hash)
in case that PPFC is not supported or the skb contain a vlan tag,
otherwise the queue is selected according to vlan priority.

Yevgeny Petrilin 465440d272 mlx4_en: Fix a kernel panic when waking tx queue
When the transmit queue gets full we enable interrupts for TX completions
There was a race that we handled the TX queue both from the interrupt context
and from the transmit function. Using "spin_trylock_irq()" ensures this
doesn't happen.

Eric Dumazet 28679751a9 net: dont update dev->trans_start in 10GB drivers
Followup of commits 9d21493b4b
and 08baf56108
(net: tx scalability works : trans_start)
(net: txq_trans_update() helper)

Now that core network takes care of trans_start updates, dont do it
in drivers themselves, if possible. Multi queue drivers can
avoid one cache miss (on dev->trans_start) in their start_xmit()
handler.

Exceptions are NETIF_F_LLTX drivers (vxge & tehuti)

Yevgeny Petrilin 48374ddce7 mlx4_en: Removed TX locking when polling TX cq
There is no need to synchronize the polling with the transmit

the cq from the transmit function. Also removed spin_lock_irq,
and using spin_trylock, if somebody else is already processing the cq,
no need to wait for it to finish.

Yevgeny Petrilin c27a02cd94 mlx4_en: Add driver for Mellanox ConnectX 10GbE NIC
The Mellanox ConnectX can operate as an InfiniBand adapter, as an
Ethernet NIC, or as a Fibre Channel (FC) HBA. The kernel has a
low-level driver, mlx4_core, which handles multiplexing access to the
device, and there is also already an InfiniBad driver, mlx4_ib.

This patch adds a new driver, mlx4_en, which implements a standard
Ethernet NIC driver.
