Jussi Kivilinna 9f5e60dd5f rndis_host: fix oops when query for OID_GEN_PHYSICAL_MEDIUM fails
When query for OID_GEN_PHYSICAL_MEDIUM fails, uninitialized pointer
'phym' is being accessed in generic_rndis_bind(), resulting OOPS.
Patch fixes phym to be initialized and setup correctly when
rndis_query() for physical medium fails.

Bug was introduced by following commit:

Jean-Christophe Dubois 10d0f27c1b rndis_host: fix transfer size negotiation
This patch should resolve a problem that's troubled support for
some RNDIS peripherals. It seems to have boiled down to using a
variable to establish transfer size limits before it was assigned,
which caused those devices to fallback to a default "jumbogram"
mode we don't support. Fix by assigning it earlier for RNDIS.

Al Viro 51bf2976b5 asix fixes
* usb_control_message() to/from stack (breaks on e.g. arm); some
  places did kmalloc() for buffer, some just worked from stack.
  Added kmalloc()/memcpy()/kfree() in asix_read_cmd()/asix_write_cmd(),
  removed that crap from callers.
* Fixed a leak in ax88172_bind() - on success it forgot to kfree() the
  buffer.
* Endianness bug in ax88178_bind() - we read a word from eeprom and work with
  it without converting to host-endian

David S. Miller 8c7b7faaa6 [NET]: Kill eth_copy_and_sum().
It hasn't "summed" anything in over 7 years, and it's
just a straight mempcy ala skb_copy_to_linear_data()
so just get rid of it.

Peter Korsgaard 9514bfe5d9 Cleanup usbnet_probe() return value handling
usbnet_probe() handles a positive return value from the driver bind()
function as success, but will later only setup the status handler if the
return value was zero, leading to confusion. Patch adjusts this to accept
positive values as success in both checks.

Jeff Garzik 5b2fc49991 Move USB network drivers to drivers/net/usb.
It is preferable to group drivers by usage (net, scsi, ATA, ...) than
by bus. When reviewing drivers, the [PCI|USB|PCMCIA|...] maintainer
is probably less qualified on networking issues than a networking
maintainer. Also, from a practical standpoint, chips often
appear on multiple buses, which is why we do not put drivers into
drivers/pci/net.
