tree source files and the binding documents to add support for new board
and new drivers.

Add dtb-y target into Makefile.boot, so that "make ARCH=arm dtbs" can

The enc28j60 spi device does not get converted to dts file, because
there is no mxs spi driver on mainline so far. The enc28j60 spi
in mach-stmp378x_devb.c does not work anyway.

Use auxdata to attach mxsfb_platform_data for imx23-evk and imx28-evk.
We take this as a temporary solution for removing those board files,
and it should be updated to use common bindings for struct fb_videomode
when it becomes available.

The non-DT boot reads the mac from OTP and pass it to fec driver via
platform data. The patch provides an equivalent support for device
tree boot, with reading mac from OTP and store it in device tree,
and fec driver can get the mac from device tree at its probe time.

arch/arm/mach-mxs/module-tx28.c includes "../devices-mx28.h". That's a
bit odd, because that header can be found in the same directory. This
only works because arch/arm/mach-mxs/include should be in the header
search path for this file. Nevertheless, this file can simply include
"device-mx28.h" (just as the four other files including that header do).

The register HW_SSP_VERSION is broken for ssp version detection,
as the address of the register is different between imx23 and imx28.
Let's use platform_device_id to detect the device, so that the use
of cpu_is_xxx can be removed.

It removes the use of cpu_is_xxx from gpio-mxs driver and instead use
platform_device_id to identify the device. Accordingly, mxs platform
code is changed to register gpio device with different names, and
the registeration are done in soc specific initialization functions
now, so postcore_initcall(mxs_add_mxs_gpio) gets removed.

The mxs pinctrl driver will only support DT probe. That said, the mxs
device drivers can only get pinctrl state from pinctrl subsystem when
the drivers get probed from device tree.
Before converting the whole mxs platform support over to device tree,
we need to enable pinctrl dummy states for those non-DT board files
to ensure the pinctrl API adopted by mxs device drivers will work for
both DT and non-DT probe.
Instead of calling pinctrl_provide_dummies() directly in every board
file, the patch introduces soc specific calls mx23_soc_init() and
mx28_soc_init() for boards' .init_machine hook to invoke, so that
any soc specific setup for non-DT boot only can be added there.

The main difficulty seems to be asm/system.h. It holds a number of
low level bits with no/few dependencies that are commonly used (eg.
memory barriers) and a number of bits with more dependencies that
aren't used in many places (eg. switch_to()).

Move memory barriers here. This already done for MIPS and Alpha.

(3) asm/exec.h

(4) asm/cmpxchg.h
Move xchg() and cmpxchg() here as they're full word atomic ops and
frequently used by atomic_xchg() and atomic_cmpxchg().
(5) asm/bug.h
Move die() and related bits.
(6) asm/auxvec.h

These are all specific to some driver. They are typically the platform
side of a change in the drivers directory, such as adding a new driver
or extending the interface to the platform. In cases where there is no
maintainer for the driver, or the maintainer prefers to have the
platform changes in the same branch as the driver changes, the patches
to the drivers are included as well.
A much smaller set of driver updates that depend on other branches
getting merged first will be sent later.
The new export of tegra_chip_uid conflicts with other changes in fuse.c.
In rtc-sa1100.c, the global removal of IRQF_DISABLED conflicts with
the cleanup of the interrupt handling of that driver.

the number of board files low, but generally board level updates are
ok on platforms that are working on moving towards DT based probing,
which will eventually lead to removing them.
The board-ams-delta.c board file gets a conflict between the removal of
ams_delta_config and the addition of a lot of other data. The Kconfig
file has two changes in the same line, and in exynos, the power domain
cleanup conflicts with the addition of the image sensor device.

Kconfig file has two changes in the same line, and in exynos, the
power domain cleanup conflicts with the addition of the image sensor
device.
